About the Role

As our Portfolio & Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for ensuring approved initiatives are successfully mobilised, governed and delivered across the organisation.

Leading a team of four, you'll oversee delivery health across a diverse portfolio, balancing capacity, priorities, dependencies, risk and stakeholder expectations while fostering a modern, collaborative and outcome-focused delivery culture.

You'll work closely with the Head of Technology, Data & Programs, executive stakeholders, business owners and delivery teams to turn approved initiatives into coordinated, controlled and successful outcomes.





Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that great delivery isn't about process for process' sake. It's about applying the right agile, hybrid or pragmatic approach to achieve meaningful results.

What You'll Do in Your New Role

- Lead and mentor a team of delivery professionals, setting priorities, building capability and creating a high-performance culture.
- Oversee a portfolio of business and technology initiatives, ensuring delivery confidence, governance, visibility and successful outcomes.
- Drive agile and hybrid delivery practices across multiple initiatives, balancing priorities, capacity and dependencies.
- Partner with executives, sponsors and business leaders to provide delivery insights, recommendations and decision support.
- Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks and lead recovery activities for initiatives requiring intervention.

About You

You're a modern delivery leader who knows how to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.

You enjoy helping teams succeed, building stakeholder trust and creating clarity where others see complexity. You're comfortable managing multiple initiatives, navigating competing priorities and making informed decisions even when not all the information is available.

You understand agile delivery frameworks and know how to apply governance and delivery controls appropriately without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Most importantly, you're a proactive leader who enjoys developing people, driving continuous improvement and building delivery confidence across an organisation.

You'll Bring:

· Experience leading portfolios, programs or complex business and technology initiatives.

· Proven people leadership skills with a strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.

· Strong expertise across agile, hybrid and modern delivery environments with proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

· Executive-level stakeholder engagement skills with experience managing governance, risk, dependencies and capacity planning.

· Commercially astute, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the ability to drive outcomes in complex environments.
