Remuneration: $79,419.00 - $122,465.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the role:

As a PPP VAN Intake Worker,



you will be the first point of contact for individuals and families affected by violence, abuse and neglect, providing compassionate, trauma-informed support and intervention. Working within a specialist multidisciplinary team, you will conduct assessments, coordinate care, facilitate referrals and advocate for clients to ensure they receive timely and appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct intake, screening, psychosocial assessments and brief interventions for clients experiencing violence, abuse and neglect.
- Provide trauma-informed crisis assessment, response and support, including information regarding medical and legal options.
- Coordinate care planning and referrals, working collaboratively with internal and external services to achieve positive client outcomes.
- Deliver client-focused advocacy, consultation and liaison services to clients, families, health professionals and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, contribute to data collection and quality improvement activities, and participate in business hours and after-hours crisis response services.

Our ideal candidate will:

- Hold an recognised degree as a Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with Peak Body Membership




- Experience providing trauma-informed assessment, crisis intervention and support to individuals and families affected by violence, abuse, neglect or other complex circumstances
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with clients, health professionals and partner agencies
- A strong commitment to client-centred care, with the ability to assess needs, coordinate referrals and advocate for vulnerable clients in a sensitive and professional manner.
- A current Class C driver's licence

- Current Australian working rights
