Take Care + Co is building a national network of trusted practical support providers who can help take something off a carer’s plate.

We’re looking for reliable, warm and capable independent contractors across Australian capital cities to provide practical, non-medical support such as:

- house cleaning
- gardening
- dog walking
- errands and pickups
- meal preparation
- laundry and light household help
- home organisation
- other everyday practical support

How it works You choose the types of jobs you want to do and the areas you want to work in.

Available jobs are posted through our provider app. You can view the details, request the jobs that suit you, and decline the ones that don’t.

There are no guaranteed hours and no requirement to accept work.

Take Care coordinates the booking with the carer, so you can focus on delivering the support.

Pay

$42 per hour

Contractor opportunities are offered in pre-booked blocks, generally from 2 hours.

You’ll work as an independent contractor and will need your own ABN.

- able to provide a high standard of service
- genuinely interested in helping make life a little easier for unpaid carers





Previous experience in cleaning, gardening, pet care, hospitality, support work, home services or customer service is welcome, but suitability will depend on the type of work you nominate. You’ll need
- a current ABN
- appropriate public liability insurance
- relevant experience for the services you offer
- your own transport where required
- your own tools/equipment where relevant
- a current police clearance
- the ability to provide references
- any additional licences, checks or insurance required for your particular service
