About the role

Greater AgriSolutions (GAS) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable person to take ownership of the operational side of our growing agricultural services business, while identifying opportunities to expand the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, taking responsibility, and building something. The role has a focus on

(1) operating and managing the existing precision agriculture operation, and

(2) assisting with, coordinating and further developing the existing agricultural trial programmes of GAS shareholder businesses.

The successful applicant will report to the GAS Board of Directors and be given significant autonomy to manage daily operations and identify opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting paddock mapping with equipped vehicle
- Coordinating data processing and selection of soil sampling sites
- Organising and undertaking soil sampling
- Managing data and results through to completion
- Invoicing and associated administration
- Communicating with clients and coordinating jobs
- Assisting with, coordinating and further developing existing trial programmes of GAS shareholder businesses
- Developing relationships with growers, agribusinesses and research organisations
- Identifying and pursuing current business opportunities

You will have access to the support and resources of the local NRI store network of agronomists when required.

About you

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organised and capable of managing multiple jobs and deadlines




- Practical and comfortable working with machinery and in the paddock
- Confident dealing with growers, agronomists and agricultural businesses
- Interested in precision agriculture and agricultural technology
- Experienced in operating agricultural trials
- Strong communicator with good administration skills
- Willing to take responsibility and make decisions
- A Bachelor's degree in agriculture or equivalent is desirable
- Previous experience in precision agriculture, agricultural trials, agronomy or a related agricultural services environment will be highly regarded

About us Greater AgriSolutions was established in 2025 by the five National Rural Independent (NRI) stores located on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia. The purpose of the business is to be a third-party precision agriculture enterprise, providing specialist services for the benefit of the grower networks of each of the founding stores.
