Job Description

Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors and trade customers across Melbourne. RL Building Supply is an established distributor of building and construction materials including plasterboard, metal framing, compounds, fibre cement, timber, fixings, tools and other building products.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing trade and commercial customers
n
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable building materials and products
n
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and follow up sales opportunities
n
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market conditions and competitor activities
n
- Coordinate customer orders and deliveries with the warehouse and operations team
n
- Follow up with customers and assist in resolving product or supply-related enquiries
n




- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular sales reports to management
n

About you nn
- Previous experience in B2B, technical or trade sales is preferred
n
- Experience in building materials, plastering, construction supplies or related products will be highly regarded
n
- Valuable communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills
n
- Ability to understand product specifications and customer requirements
n
- Self-motivated and able to develop new business opportunities
