About the Role n

This is a hands‑on position working across both workshop and mine site environments. You'll split your time between fabrication projects in our Kalgoorlie workshop and maintenance, repairs and shutdown support at local mine sites.

Every week is different, offering a mix of structural fabrication, equipment repairs and on‑site maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities n

n




- Fabrication and welding using MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core processes
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
n
- Manufacture structural steel, tanks and industrial components
n
- Repair and modify mining and industrial equipment
n
- Complete mine site maintenance and shutdown work
n
- Cutting, grinding, fitting and assembly
n
- Work safely in workshop and mine site environments
n
- Complete Take 5s, JHAs and timesheets
n

About You n

You'll be a qualified Boilermaker who takes pride in producing quality work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

You'll also have: n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker)
n
- Minimum two years' post-apprenticeship experience
n
- Experience in mining, heavy industry or structural fabrication
n
- Ability to read drawings and work independently
n
- Strong safety awareness and work ethicCurrent driver's licence (HR/LR licence advantageous)
n
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (or willingness to obtain)
n
