This is a deal-making role. Sold Fast is a growing vehicle purchasing business based in Burwood, Sydney. We buy cars directly from private sellers and supply them to a network of licensed dealers. We move fast, we negotiate hard and we want a Junior Vehicle Buyer who wants to learn how to do both.
The Role You’ll work the full purchasing process end to end. Source vehicles, speak with sellers, assess value, negotiate the price, close the deal and arrange collection.
Full training is provided. The expectation is simple; you learn fast, you apply it and you push for results.
What that looks like day to day;
- Working inbound leads and making outbound calls to potential sellers
- Negotiating purchase prices and holding your position when sellers push back
- Learning vehicle valuation and spotting a good buying opportunity
- Sourcing vehicles through Carsales and other platforms
- Building relationships with sellers
- Hitting monthly purchasing targets
- Keeping CRM record current and accurate
What You Bring
Motor industry experience is not required. The right person is.
The person who succeeds in this role:
- Gets energy from the phone,
not drained by it
- Can hold a number when a seller gets emotional about it
- Wants to earn based on what they actually produce
- Moves quickly, follows through and doesn’t need to be chased
- Has a genuine interest in cars
A current drivers licence is required.

The ceiling here is high if you’ve got the drive for it. As your valuation and negotiation skills develop, so does your autonomy and your role. The goal is to build you into a Vehicle Buyer who owns their own process from start to finish.
