Supporting commercial vehicle customers throughout the Mid West, Daimler Trucks Geraldton provides truck sales, servicing, and parts support across a wide range of leading commercial vehicle brands. This traineeship offers a structured pathway to develop the knowledge and skills required to become a qualified Parts Interpreter within a supportive and experienced team.

About the Role n

As a Trainee Parts Interpreter, you will learn all aspects of the parts department while assisting with:

- Parts identification and interpretation
n
- Customer enquiries, quoting, and sales
n
- Ordering parts and maintaining stock levels
n
- Receipting and dispatching inventory
n
- Inventory control and stock management
n
- Maintaining parts records and catalogues
n
- Supplying parts to the workshop team
n
- General parts department administration and operations
n

n

Throughout the traineeship,



you will progressively develop the skills and industry knowledge required to work independently as a Parts Interpreter.

- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to learning

- Be confident communicating with customers and workshop staff

- Be comfortable using computers and learning new systems

- Have an interest in automotive, trucks, or mechanical equipment

Desirable Requirements n

- Driver's licence preferred, but not essential
n
- Previous automotive, retail, warehousing, or parts experience is advantageous but not required

- Genuine interest in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
