About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Financial Operations Leader to support ANZ operations within a global organisation. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, owning financial performance, forecasting and cost optimisation across a complex services portfolio.
This position is ideally suited to candidates with experience supporting field services, asset services, maintenance, utilities, industrial services, infrastructure service-based operations environments

This is a 12-month contract, has potential to convert to permanent.

- Preferred location is Melbourne or Sydney for the right candidate
- Standard hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm with flexibility
- Flexibility required to support global stakeholders (occasional evenings/weekend calls, with time off in lieu)

Key Responsibilities





- Own Australia's financials including P&L;, balance sheet and cashflow management
- Develop budgets, forecasts and financial plans across contracts and projects
- Drive cost optimisation, productivity improvements and financial performance
- Manage monthly reporting, revenue recognition and financial close processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Analyse risks, opportunities and contract performance to improve outcomes
- Ensure strong governance, compliance and ERP process integrity

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years’ relevant finance experience
- Strong Excel skills (advanced level preferred)
- Experience in financial analysis, forecasting and reporting, owning the P&L;
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) nice to have
- Ability to partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and manage risk
- Exposure to Smartsheet or similar tools
- Experience supporting a services, maintenance, asset management or operational business workplace is highly regarded
- Experience in renewable energy, utilities, engineering services, maintenance services, industrial services or related environments will be highly regarded
