*The Role An opportunity has become available for a Principal Contract Management Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Provide strategic direction and oversight for complex, high-value and high-risk contracts critical to organisational performance

Partner with procurement to support effective organisational outcomes

Represent the organisation in high-level negotiations with suppliers and external stakeholders

Develop and oversee contract management strategies and plans for complex contracts are clearly defined and achieved

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

While not mandatory, the following would be well regarded:

A relevant qualification in procurement, contract management, law, business or a related commercial discipline.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex, high-value or strategic contracts across the full contract lifecycle.

Strong commercial acumen, with experience in contract performance management, negotiations and resolving complex contract issues

Experience working collaboratively with procurement teams across sourcing and contract management phases.

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $144,315 - $154,879 per annum
