Location: Sydney or Melbourne The reason for this role is:

The Procurement Manager is accountable for sourcing goods and services to meet Goldwind’s project requirements. This will require working closely with logistics, legal, commercial and project teams and includes internal sourcing and external suppliers. This role will also assist the commercial team in preparing sourcing strategies, budgets and programs as required. Support to Project Teams during the delivery phase is a natural extension to the role.

What will you be doing?

- Manage the preparation, recommendation, approval and implementation of procurement and subcontracting strategies.
- Maintaining market knowledge of supply chain options and competitor strategies.
- Actively manage framework and term agreements to ensure that the full benefits of these are realized.
- Frequent contact with potential suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparation of discrete elements of projects for construction which may involve supply chain tendering, evaluation and engagement of contractors and suppliers, obtaining preliminary designs or specifications from suppliers,



and assist with the documentation of project plans.
- Consult with the key stakeholders in Goldwind to obtain the best for project outcome in the implementation of procurement strategies.
- Forecast future requirements.
- Manage supply agreements, framework and term agreements throughout the term of those agreements.
- Co-ordinate tenders, evaluate submissions and recommend tenderers for inclusion in bid budgets.

What does your background look like?

- 5+ years procurement experience in Wind, Power, Construction, or related Industry.
- Experience with the following categories highly regarded: Port, Transport, Crane and Install.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of contracts, schedules, documentation management, financial administration.
- Good knowledge of Project Office systems including scheduling software.
- Negotiation skills and ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups.
- 5+ years procurement experience in Wind, Power, Construction, or related Industry.
