About the role

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll own the sourcing, purchasing and ongoing management of raw materials, packaging and operational consumables. You'll work closely with Sales, NPD, R&D;, Quality, Operations and Warehouse teams to make sure our supply is cost-effective, compliant and reliable, and you'll play a hands-on role in bringing new products to market.

What you'll do

• Purchase and track incoming raw and packaging materials, applying your technical knowledge of specifications and quality standards

• Find, assess and onboard local and international suppliers, and negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times and MOQs

• Manage supplier performance on delivery, quality, responsiveness and cost

• Support new product development with packaging selection, costing, lead-time assessments, samples, trials and first-article approvals

• Manage change control, including material substitutions, specification updates and supplier changes

• Work with Planning and Warehouse on call-ups, delivery scheduling and inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and excess stock

• Coordinate imports with freight forwarders and customs brokers, including Incoterms,



shipping and documentation

• Drive savings through sourcing strategy, benchmarking and specification optimisation, and contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability projects

What you'll bring

• Solid experience in raw material and/or packaging procurement within pharmaceutical, cosmetics, FMCG or another regulated manufacturing environment

• Strong technical materials knowledge and the ability to read specifications and technical files

• A good understanding of GMP, supplier quality requirements and change control

• Proven negotiation skills, including international sourcing

• Working knowledge of logistics and import processes

• Solid commercial sense and a sharp eye for detail in pricing, specs and documentation

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Business Central/Navision, SAP, Oracle or Pronto

• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Pharmaceuticals, Packaging, Engineering or a related field
