About the role The Product Designer (Manufacturing) is responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of products and product lines across Agrifarm Implements and Little Guy Australia. The role will lead the creation and management of product designs from concept through to production, including 3D modelling, engineering documentation, structural analysis, manufacturing information, costing and product data management. The position also provides production coordination and planning support to the Production Manager, ensuring the effective transition of designs into manufacturing and assisting with production scheduling, resource planning and production reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain product designs across Agrifarm Implements and Little Guy Australia product ranges

- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings for new and existing products

- Undertake the digitisation of existing products and components into CAD systems

- Develop product improvements and optimisation initiatives to improve manufacturability, quality, functionality and cost efficiency

- Design and develop current products, product lines and product enhancements aligned with business objectives and customer requirements

- Prepare fabrication drawings,



manufacturing documentation and assembly instructions to support production activities

- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and product structures

- Develop cut files and manufacturing data for production equipment and fabrication processes

- Conduct structural analysis and design verification activities to validate product performance and compliance requirements

- Develop and maintain product cost models and support management with product costing and pricing information

About you

- Engineering, Mechanical Design, Product Design, Drafting or Trade qualification (essential)

- Experience in product design, drafting or engineering design (essential)

- Experience with manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly and production systems (essential)

- Experience creating technical drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation (essential)

- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (essential)

- Working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD (essential)

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (essential)

- Current driver's licence (essential)

- Strong organisational skills, professional approach, confident manner, self-motivated and proactive, commitment to accuracy and quality

- Ability to develop accurate, practical and manufacturable product designs using modern CAD systems
