This is a rare opportunity to lead W&E; Health, one of AEMG Group's three strategic growth platforms, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of health innovation, natural health products, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), aged care initiatives and research commercialisation.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic growth, commercialisation and operational leadership of the business, transforming innovation and research into sustainable commercial outcomes. Working across product development, strategic partnerships, business development and market expansion, you will lead the delivery of new products, services and revenue opportunities across domestic and international markets.

Reporting to the Director General, this executive leadership role offers the opportunity to influence future strategy, build high-value partnerships and establish W&E; Health as a recognised leader within the health and wellness sector.

About the Position





We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven leader with a proven track record in business growth, product commercialisation and strategic partnerships.

You will lead the development and execution of W&E; Health's growth strategy, identifying new market opportunities, expanding partnerships and driving the successful commercialisation of products, services and intellectual property. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on business management, ensuring robust commercial performance, operational excellence and long‑term sustainability.

- Commercialise Innovation – Transform research, intellectual property and product concepts into sustainable revenue streams.

- Build Strategic Partnerships – Develop high-value relationships across industry, universities, research institutions and commercial sectors.

- Shape Future Opportunities – Lead growth initiatives across natural health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, aged care and related sectors.

- Executive Leadership Impact – Influence strategy, drive business performance and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for W&E; Health.

- Drive business development, market expansion and revenue growth initiatives.

- Lead the development and commercialisation of health-related products and services.

- Establish pathways to commercialise research outcomes and intellectual property.

- Build and manage strategic partnerships with industry, research and education stakeholders.

- Identify new opportunities across natural health,



TCM, aged care and health-related services.

- Oversee financial performance, budgeting and business planning.

- Ensure effective governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.

- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing and commercially focused team.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Sciences, Commercialisation, Management or a related discipline.

- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in health, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, aged care or related industries.

- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership, executive or General Manager role.

- Proven success in taking products or services from development through to commercialisation and market launch.

- Strong business development, partnership management and revenue growth experience.

- Experience managing budgets, profitability and commercial performance.

- Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.

- Experience with intellectual property management and commercialisation processes.

- Experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, natural health products, healthcare, aged care or related industries will be highly regarded.

- Experience working with international partners, particularly within China, will be advantageous.

This permanent full-time position is based in Surrey Hills, Melbourne, with domestic and occasional international travel required.
