Gelatissimo is one of Australia's best-known gelato brands, making premium gelato and related products for stores across Australia and overseas. Our Rydalmere site is home to our Project House, where we blend and pack the premix powders that go into our products.

About the role:

We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily production in our Project House. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll run a small team of production casuals and make sure every batch is blended, packed and labelled correctly, safely and on time.

What you'll do:

- Set up and operate blending, heat-sealing and printing equipment
- Inspect raw ingredients against work orders
- Pre-weigh ingredients accurately for blending
- Pack premix products into a range of bag sizes as per work orders
- Make sure all powder production follows company recipes, standards and procedures
- Train and coach production assistants in powder production, food safety and sanitation
- Report hazards and incidents,



and help maintain a strong safety culture
- Drive continuous improvement in quality and output

What you'll bring:

- 2+ years' experience in food production or a catering kitchen, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- A working understanding of HACCP, GMP and WHS requirements
- Strong attention to detail, especially accurate measuring and a focus on quality
- Experience in a fast-paced production setting
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills
- Enthusiasm for coaching others and building your own leadership skills
