THE ROLE

30—40hrs

Based in either our Sydney or Auckland Office

This is a senior role with responsibility for overseeing production and logistics across our global operations. Working closely with our international manufacturing and logistics partners, you will play an integral role in bringing BAINA’s collections to market — from product development and production through to delivery across our key markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers the opportunity to own a critical function within the business and contribute meaningfully to BAINA’s continued international growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Product

- Own the end-to-end production process, from development through to, manufacturing and final delivery readiness.
- Lead the placement and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy across SKUs, quantities, costs and production timelines.
- Develop and maintain production critical paths, proactively managing suppliers and identifying risks to key deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners,



including onboarding recent suppliers in line with the business’s sourcing and growth objectives.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, MOQs and commercial terms to support gross margin targets.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive product, supplier, and production documentation in the company’s internal system.
- Oversee product testing, certification and compliance requirements, including GOTS and Apothecary regulatory requirements.
- Continually review production processes and supplier capabilities to improve quality, efficiency and scalability.Logistics & Inventory
- Own global logistics across BAINA’s key markets, coordinating sea and air freight from suppliers through to international distribution centres.
- Develop and maintain logistics critical paths, ensuring freight schedules align with production, launch and replenishment requirements.
- Manage freight forwarder and 3PL relationships across all markets, ensuring service levels, costs and operational requirements are consistently met.
- Oversee warehousing and fulfilment operations, operational instructions and training where required.
- Coordinate and oversee regular stocktakes across all markets, investigating discrepancies and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Review freight,



warehousing and fulfilment processes and costs to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and scalability.

Commercial Oversight

- Maintain oversight of product landed costs and gross margin, ensuring production and logistics decisions support agreed margin targets.
- Provide clear recommendations to the CEO on production quantities, inventory requirements, freight decisions, supplier negotiations and operational risks.
- Maintain accurate reporting across production, inventory, logistics, costs and key operational timelines to support informed business decision-making.

YOUR PROFILE

- Significant experience in production, supply chain and logistics management, ideally within a multi-market or international business.
- Experience within a design-led fashion, beauty, home or lifestyle brand, with a strong understanding of quality and product standards.
- Strong experience managing manufacturers, suppliers, freight partners and 3PLs across multiple markets.
- Highly skilled in critical path management, with the ability to manage multiple production and logistics timelines simultaneously.
- Comfortable operating in a growing business where processes continue to evolve, with the ability to introduce greater structure, efficiency and accountability.
