Action Workforce has the following Production Worker – Manufacturing roles available

Site Location: Chipping Norton

Role: Production Worker - Manufacturing (Temp)

Responsibilities:

- Be part of the crucial production process of plastic pipes, the plant operates 24/7 and only closes for 2 weeks at the end of the year, the pipes are used for carriage of water, electrical cable and optical cable, the pipes are formed from powder through an extrusion machine
- Check outturn of the pipes v client specifications using Micrometre
- Remove pipes from machine and forming brackets for distribution
- Use of power tools
- Manual lifting
- CB Fork Lift operation

Role Type: TEMP ongoing

Roster Days: 2x Day Shift, 2x Days off, 3x Night shift, 2x Days off, 2x Day Shift, 3x Days off, 2x Night Shift, 2x Days off, 3x Day Shift, 2x Days off, 2x Night Shift, 3x Days off, repeat

Hours: Rotating 12 hours Shifts 6.00am to 6.00pm and 6.00pm to 6.00am

Pay: Flat Rate $46.33/hour (OT on Non-Rostered days)

Candidate Requirements:

- LF License essential,



CB FLD experience for 1 year minimum
- Previous experience working nights shifts is a must
- Ability to commit to frequent weekend shifts
- Must have your own PPE (hard cap footwear/long sleeves/pants)
- Manual Lifting - Rated to 15kg
- Experience with power tools
- Good mathematics skills
- Successful completion of Police Checks, Ref Checks, Functional Assessment, Audiometric and D&A; test
- Be happy working in a noisy workplace
- Must be PR/Citizen
