Ever looked at a WIP schedule and seen a story, not just a spreadsheet?

We're looking for a Project Accountant who can read the numbers behind our live project portfolio and translate them into something Project Managers and Commercial can actually act on. You'll own WIP and revenue recognition, cost-to-complete and margin reporting, and the cost-code discipline that keeps our project financials trustworthy across every job, not just the easy ones.

This isn't a purely transactional role. You'll be working directly with Project Managers to sharpen forecast accuracy, and with Commercial on claims and variations, so confidence and transparent communication matter as much as technical accuracy.

Some of the must-haves:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- 2+ years in a project accounting, cost accounting or commercial finance role
- Strong Excel skills, including cashflow and variance modelling
- Working knowledge of revenue recognition for long-term contracts (percentage-of-completion style reporting)
- Comfortable interpreting contracts for variation and claim substantiation
- Willing to travel to project sites as required

Bonus points for:

- CA or CPA, completed or well underway
- Construction,



civil or engineering industry experience
- Exposure to job-costing ERPs, Business Central highly regarded
- Big 4 or mid-tier firm background, particularly audit
