About the Organisation The Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory (MCNT) is the peak body organisation that advocates for and provides direct services to individuals, families and communities from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds in the Northern Territory.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project/ Admin Officer to coordinate and support projects within our organisation. The applicants should have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Selection Criteria

- Tertiary qualification or progressing towards one in Social Work/Community Work/Business, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities.
- Highly developed qualified communication and interpersonal skills to enable engagement with CALD families and communities.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to use computer applications, particularly MS-Word,



MS-Excel and other related programs (comfortable using on-line forms and interactive websites). Experience in MYOB or bookkeeping is desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.
- Ability to perform ad hoc duties (may include some physical tasks) and support other staff as required.
- Flexibility and availability to work after hours and weekends when required.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are also necessary.
- Hold a Police Clearance and working with children (Ochre card) or willingness to obtain.
