PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR / ESTIMATOR

Magena Fabrications is an established Adelaide based metal fabrication business specialising in architectural steel and custom metalwork, including handrails, balustrades, screens, and feature elements across commercial projects.

We are looking for a Project Administrator / Estimator to support our estimating team with quotes, variations and project administration. This role suits someone with construction or administration experience looking to develop their estimating skills, with training provided by our Estimating Manager.

The role

- Assist with preparing quotes and reviewing scope documents

- Track variations and follow up builder approvals

- Obtain supplier pricing and raise purchase orders

- Keep project information and registers up to date

- Liaise with suppliers, builders and our internal team

- Learn to read drawings, complete take offs and price metalwork





- Take on your own estimating packages as your skills develop

About you

- Organised, good with numbers and attentive to detail

- Construction, trade, drafting or project administration experience would be practical

- Able to read construction drawings, or willing to learn

- Comfortable using computers and learning new software

- Practical approach and willing to ask questions

- Clear communicator who follows things through
