Indigeco is recruiting a Senior Project Delivery Lead for our NSW Government client. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in Darlinghurst, supporting a high-profile legal, policy and regulatory reform project.

This is not a traditional IT project management role. The successful candidate will be a senior, government-savvy project delivery professional who can lead complex policy-linked work, manage multiple streams, influence senior stakeholders and translate legislative and policy changes into practical delivery plans.

The role will involve leading a major working group, coordinating multiple project streams across policy, implementation and operational readiness, and providing trusted project delivery advice to senior executives.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a NSW Government organisation operating in a complex legal, regulatory and reform environment. This is an prospect to contribute to a high-visibility project that requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement, policy understanding and practical delivery leadership.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end project delivery planning for a complex legal, policy and regulatory reform project
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across policy and program design, implementation and operational readiness
- Develop and maintain governance, reporting, risk, issue and dependency management processes
- Prepare and coordinate high-quality written materials including business cases, reports, briefing papers, policy options papers and governance documents
- Work closely with senior executives, legal, policy, operational and external stakeholders to keep the project aligned and moving forward
- Lead working groups, keep stream leads engaged and ensure project activities remain on track despite competing priorities
- Support change, communications and education activities, including stakeholder updates, resources, webinars,



training materials and external communications

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

- Senior project or program delivery experience in government, legal, policy, regulatory or public sector reform environments
- Strong ability to read, interpret and work with legislation, policy documents, guidelines, business documents and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-stream projects with senior stakeholders and competing priorities
- Exceptional written communication skills, including experience preparing briefs, reports, business cases, policy papers or executive documents
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work with executives, legal teams, policy teams, operational staff and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, governance and reporting in a high-pressure delivery environment
- Workers’ compensation, legal assistance, legal, regulatory or NSW Government experience will be highly regarded

WORKING ARRANGEMENT This role requires regular office presence in Darlinghurst. Candidates must be available to work onsite at least 5 days per fortnight, with Monday and Wednesday preferred due to key stakeholder and executive meetings.

Remote-only or mostly remote candidates will not be suitable for this opportunity.
