Drive a high-profile regulatory reform program within a complex government environment An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Delivery Lead to join a respected NSW Government agency and lead the delivery of a significant regulatory reform initiative.

This contract presents the opportunity to work at the intersection of policy, legislation, governance and project delivery, helping shape the future operating framework of a high-profile organisation undergoing substantial legislative and regulatory change. Based on the recruiter brief contained within Untitled.msg, the role will lead the development of final guidelines, implementation planning and organisational readiness activities arising from legislative reform.

This is ideally suited to a senior project delivery professional with experience leading policy, legislative, regulatory or transformation programs within government or similarly complex environments.

Your new role

Reporting to senior executive stakeholders, you will be responsible for establishing structure, governance and momentum across a critical reform program. You will coordinate multiple streams of work, bring together diverse stakeholder groups and ensure key deliverables progress in line with strategic objectives. The role will lead policy development activities, implementation planning and operational readiness initiatives associated with regulatory reform.

Key responsibilities will include





- Leading the overall delivery of a complex regulatory reform program.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, governance frameworks and reporting structures.
- Coordinating multiple workstreams, steering groups and stakeholders.
- Translating legislative and policy requirements into practical project outcomes.
- Preparing high-quality briefing papers, business cases, options papers and executive reports.
- Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to achieve project outcomes.
- Driving implementation planning and organisational readiness activities.
- Supporting communication, education and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Providing strategic advice and delivery updates to senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished project or program delivery professional who has successfully led complex reform initiatives within government, regulatory, legislative or policy-driven environments.

You will bring

- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale regulatory reform, transformation or policy implementation programs.
- Strong understanding of legislative, regulatory and governance frameworks.




- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- The ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Proven experience preparing executive-level documentation and strategic reports.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project governance, planning and risk management capability.
- Experience operating in environments characterised by ambiguity, competing priorities and organisational change.
