We're looking for a Project Engineer who wants to be on site, understand how the job is actually built, and own the technical and commercial detail that makes a project run.

What you'll own

- Quality: ITPs, hold and witness points, lot registers, test requests and conformance - closed out before the crew moves on
- Set-out and survey coordination, design queries and RFIs, and resolving drawing issues with the designer and the Superintendent
- Program: build and update it with the PM, and flag slippage early with a recovery plan
- Commercial support: quantities, cost tracking, progress claim substantiation, and identifying and documenting variations the day they arise
- Procurement: scoping, quoting and managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Safety and workplace: SWMS review, traffic management plans, erosion and sediment control
- Handover: as-constructed records, quality packs and defects close-out





Where you'll work You'll be based in Brisbane and travel to projects across Queensland, including regional and remote sites. Typical time away is Northern Queensland, with flights, accommodation and meals allowance when you're on site.

What you'll bring

- A degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) and 4+ years' experience with a civil contractor
- Hands-on experience with ITPs, lot conformance and quality records on roads, drainage or earthworks projects
- TMR / MRTS experience, or council and subdivision work to AUS-SPEC or local standards
- Confidence with quantities, programs (MS Project or similar) and cost tracking
- The judgement to know when to solve it yourself and when to escalate and to do it early

- Current Queensland driver licence and Construction White Card
- Willingness to travel and work away when the project requires it
