Are you an experienced Interior Designer who is highly capable in Revit, incredibly organised and great at taking a project from "designed" to completely resolved and ready to build?

Perhaps you're already managing your own clients and projects or you're a strong Designer who has the technical capability, confidence and organisation skills and is ready to take that next step.

Our client is an established and successful business within the commercial design and fit-out space and due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Interior Designer to join their established Design team.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days creating concepts from a blank page. By the time a project reaches you, much of the initial concept, layout, overall look and feel, budget and 3D design will already have been established with the client.

Your job is to take it from there and make everything happen.

You'll take ownership of the detailed design and client journey, bringing together finishes, fixtures, furniture, documentation, approvals, consultants and all the moving parts required to get the project completely resolved and packaged for Construction.

Revit is critical - we want to be upfront about this because it's one of the most important requirements for the role. You'll need to be a genuinely confident and experienced Revit user, comfortable working within established models and documentation and using Revit as an integral part of your day-to-day design and project delivery.

Experience with Enscape would be highly regarded, although strong Revit capability is the priority.

What you'll be doing:

You'll take ownership of multiple projects through the detailed design and pre-construction stages, including:

- Working with established concepts and maintaining the original design intent

- Guiding clients through colours, finishes, materials, fixtures, furniture and final interior selections

- Developing and refining existing designs and 3D concepts where required





- Working confidently in Revit to develop, coordinate and resolve project detail

- Using Enscape to review and present designs

- Running client design meetings and becoming the key point of contact throughout this stage

- Confidently advising clients when something may not work from a design, practical or budget perspective

- Coordinating samples, schedules, selections and detailed documentation

- Working closely with the architectural/documentation team to ensure drawings accurately reflect approved designs and selections

- Coordinating consultants and other third parties

- Managing relevant landlord, certifier and other approvals

- Keeping multiple projects, decisions, actions and approvals moving to agreed timelines

- Ensuring every detail is resolved before handover to Construction

- Providing the Construction team with a complete, organised and construction-ready project package

- Ultimately, when the project is handed across to Construction, the groundwork has been done, approvals are in place, decisions have been made and the project is ready to go.

Who will thrive in this role?

This role will suit someone who enjoys design but gets just as much satisfaction from organisation, coordination, problem-solving and getting things finished properly. You don't need to be the most conceptual or creatively driven Designer in the room. You do need enough creative flair and design knowledge to understand the vision, refine the detail and guide the client confidently.

More importantly, you're someone who:

- Is an expert/confident Revit user

- Has solid commercial Interior Design and/or fit-out experience

- Is exceptionally organised and comfortable managing lots of moving parts





- Naturally follows things through rather than letting actions sit

- Can manage multiple projects and competing deadlines without losing the detail

- Is confident communicating with clients and capable of leading meetings

- Can make decisions, solve problems and keep a project moving

- Has a good eye for colours, materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture

- Understands commercial-grade materials and practical design considerations

- Balances positive design with budget and commercial realities

- Doesn't need to be constantly managed or reminded

- Takes genuine ownership and pride in delivering a project properly

- You may already be operating at this level, or you may be a technically strong Interior Designer who is ready for more responsibility and would love the opportunity to step up into greater client and project ownership.
