The Opportunity n

Core Crew Trainingis seeking an experienced Process Trainer to support a major overseas mining operation on an expat roster, improving capability, compliance, and consistency across site operations.

This role suits an experienced trainer with strong hands-on knowledge of mobile mining equipment and production processes. You will play a key role in onboarding, upskilling, and verifying the competency of operational personnel, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent execution of site activities.

Key Responsibilities n

- Deliver high-quality training and competency assessments for mining operators
n
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, training materials, and competency frameworks for mobile mining equipment
n
- Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring across core production activities
n
- Support onboarding and Verification of Competency (VOC) processes for employees and contractors
n




- Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training and development programs
n
- Maintain accurate training, VOC, and competency records in line with site and regulatory requirements
n
- Work closely with operations leadership, safety, and training teams to drive continuous improvement and safe production outcomes
n

About You nn
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
n
- Robust operational experience in mining operations
n
- Proven capability across mobile mining and production equipment
n
- Previous experience in training delivery, competency assessment, or SOP development within a mining environment
n
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage operators and supervisors at all levels
n
- Safety-focused mindset with a genuine passion for coaching and developing people
n
- Willingness and ability to work on an overseas expat assignment
n
