Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government client to recruit a Project Manager. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to deliver complex SAP-related projects. You will drive digital transformation, ensure alignment with government standards, and lead multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic project leadership. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and achieving outcomes within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

- Stakeholder engagement. Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and vendors, to define project objectives, influence decision-making, and ensure deliverables meet organisational needs.

- Risk and compliance management. Lead the identification and mitigation of project risks and ensure compliance with policies, frameworks, and Queensland Government standards, including procurement and legislative requirements.

- Leadership. Provide high-level leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, while building team capability and performance.

- Digital transformation advocacy and reporting. Champion SAP solutions to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency, while delivering high-quality reports and briefings to senior management on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

About You:

- Extensive project management experience.



Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects, ideally involving SAP implementations or upgrades (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), with a proven ability to deliver outcomes within scope, budget, and timeframes.

- Expertise in project management methodologies. Advanced knowledge and application of recognised project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK) in dynamic and complex environments, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.

- Leadership and stakeholder engagement. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams, coupled with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities, particularly within government or public sector settings.

- Technical and strategic acumen. In-depth understanding of SAP technologies and their role in achieving business objectives, with the ability to align technical solutions to organisational strategies and drive digital transformation initiatives.

- Risk and compliance management. Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks and ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and Queensland Government standards.
