We're looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our Engineering PMO and drive the delivery of complex new product development programs. This role is responsible for driving projects through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, manufacturing and product launch.

Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you'll coordinate multiple workstreams, manage project risk and ensure projects achieve key technical, commercial and delivery objectives.





Success in this role requires someone who understands engineering product development, can effectively engage technical teams and know how to balance scope, schedule, cost, and quality in a highly regulated environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead end-to-end delivery of new product development projects from concept through to production release
- Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management activities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Electronics, Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Product functions
- Facilitate design reviews, project milestone reviews and governance activities
- Identify project risks, dependencies and delivery challenges before they impact project outcomes
- Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, cost and quality targets
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical activities remain aligned with project objectives
- Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and reporting
- Support the transition of products from development into manufacturing and production
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks, processes and tools

- Telecommunications and RF technologies

- Defence or mission-critical communications
- Hardware-based product development environments

You Will Also Have Experience With

- Stage-Gate, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Risk management, resource planning and project governance
- Quality management systems, including ISO9001
- Working across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions

Qualifications

- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related technical discipline
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
