About the role

We have an opportunity for aProject Manager to be part of our Project Management Office/ Cyber Security, Technology & Communication

Services Command . The Project Manager leads and manages project teams to develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a portfolio of strategic projects, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives.

The Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, delivery and implementation of cyber security initiatives that strengthen the NSW Police Force's cyber resilience and support the protection of critical systems, information and operational capabilities. Working within a complex and highly sensitive environment, the role will manage projects that contribute to the prevention, disruption and response to cyber threats while ensuring operational continuity and alignment with organisational priorities.

The role requires a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management and strategic delivery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business leaders, technical subject matter experts, vendors and external partners to deliver projects that enhance cyber security capability, improve organisational resilience and support compliance with government policies, standards and best practice frameworks.

A key aspect of the role is ensuring cyber security is embedded into project planning, business decision-making and service delivery, while balancing security outcomes with business and operational requirements. The Cyber Security Project Manager will lead cross functional teams,



manage competing priorities and provide clear reporting and assurance to support successful project outcomes across the organisation.
