PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER The Welcome Experience – Coffs Coast

Fixed-term part-time | 14 hours per week | Until 30 June 2027

Boambee East Community Centre is seeking a Project Support Officer to work under the guidance of our Local Connector, helping welcome essential workers and their families relocating to the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen regions.

This varied role involves administration, communications, social media, preparing Welcome Bags, assisting with community activities and providing day-to-day project support.

Position Highlights

- 14 hours per week (fixed term part time) - with flexible working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Based at Boambee East Community Centre, with travel throughout the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen regions.
- Remuneration in accordance with the SCHADS Award, plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates.
- Opportunity to join a small, supportive and community-focused team.

Essential Requirements Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills,



with the ability to warmly welcome and engage with people from diverse backgrounds.

Confidence using digital platforms, a current driver’s licence, and access to a reliable vehicle.

A National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check are also required.
