Property Manager – The Vintage Holiday Houses

Hunter Valley, NSW | Full-Time The Vintage Holiday Houses is looking for an experienced and proactive Property Manager to join our team at The Vintage Estate in Pokolbin, Hunter Valley. Managing a portfolio of approximately 80 privately owned holiday houses, this is a varied role focused on property standards, owner relationships, guest experience and the smooth day-to-day operation of our holiday accommodation portfolio.

The Property Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with our Maintenance Coordinator, Cleaning Contractors, Reservations and Accounting teams.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day management and presentation of our holiday house portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and our owners and guests receive excellent service.

Key responsibilities include

- Manage the day-to-day operation of approximately 80 holiday houses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners
- Act as a key point of contact for owners regarding their properties, including onboarding new properties into the portfolio
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring attention
- Work closely with our Maintenance Coordinator to ensure maintenance issues are actioned and followed through
- Work with multiple contracted cleaning companies to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
- Ensure properties are guest-ready and presented to the required standard
- Follow up property issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
- Assist with guest concerns relating to individual properties when required
- Maintain accurate property and owner records




- Communicate with owners regarding property improvements, maintenance requirements and operational matters
- Work closely with Reservations, Accommodation and other Resort departments
- Identify opportunities to improve property standards, operational processes and the overall owner and guest experience
- Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager on property matters and outstanding issues

About You We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing relationships with both property owners and guests.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in property management, holiday accommodation, hotels or a similar role
- Strong owner and stakeholder relationship skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Robust organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to completion
- A proactive and practical approach to problem solving
- Confidence working across different departments and with external contractors
- Good computer and administrative skills
- A current driver's licence
