Property Valuations & Acquisitions Advisor | Wollongong / Nowra - Till mid-January 2027

$600-$850 per day + Super | Government Contract | Hybrid Working

- Location: Wollongong or Nowra
- Hybrid: 50% office attendance
- Nowra: Tuesday and Wednesday
- Wollongong: Thursday
- Rate: $600-$850 per day + Super
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Contract: Till mid-January 2027

MUST HAVE : Experience across property valuations, acquisitions and negotiations An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Valuations & Acquisitions Advisor to join a major NSW Government organisation, supporting property acquisition activities across significant infrastructure and transport programs. As the Valuations & Acquisitions Advisor, you will manage property valuations, negotiations and acquisition activities to support the timely delivery of major projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct and manage property valuations and negotiations, including complex matters.
- Manage property acquisition activities in accordance with relevant policies, guidelines and legislative requirements.
- Prepare submissions and documentation for approval while maintaining appropriate governance and probity.
- Liaise with surveyors,



property professionals and internal stakeholders regarding acquisition plans and agreements.
- Ensure agreements accurately reflect conditions of purchase and associated property works or adjustments.
- Provide accurate and practical advice relating to property valuations and acquisitions.
- Support the timely acquisition and access to properties required for major projects.

About You

You will ideally have

- Demonstrated experience in property valuation and/or property acquisition.
- Strong experience negotiating property-related matters with landowners and stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of property acquisition processes, governance and relevant legislation.
- Experience managing complex property or valuation matters.
- Solid written communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within government, infrastructure, transport or major projects will be highly regarded.
