About the Role:

Glow Health Care Australia is an NDIS-registered provider delivering support and therapeutic services to people with disability. We are seeking an experienced Psychotherapist to provide tailored therapeutic services to participants with complex needs, supporting them to achieve their goals, improve wellbeing and participate more fully in everyday life.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct initial evaluations of participants’ needs and develop customised therapeutic plans.

· Provide psychotherapy, counselling and therapeutic interventions appropriate to participants’ individual needs.

· Develop evidence-based therapeutic strategies in line with participants’ goals and support plans.

· Conduct clinical, behavioural and functional assessments within professional scope and competence.

· Monitor participant progress and review and modify therapeutic plans as required.

· Facilitate individual and group therapeutic sessions where appropriate.

· Support participants to identify goals and adopt strategies to address emotional, mental and lifestyle issues.

· Prepare assessments, treatment plans, progress reports and other documentation required under NDIS plans.

· Collaborate with participants, families, support teams and relevant service providers in implementing therapeutic strategies.

· Liaise with healthcare professionals,



social and medical agencies and community service providers as part of a multidisciplinary approach.

· Refer participants to other healthcare professionals where appropriate.

· Assist participants with vocational goals and supported living assessments where relevant to the role.

· Maintain appropriate clinical records and case documentation.

· Work in accordance with NDIS requirements, relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

· Incorporate Child Safe Standards and appropriate safeguarding practices when working with children and young people.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Relevant recognised qualification in psychotherapy, counselling, mental health or a related discipline appropriate to the services being provided.

· Relevant professional membership or registration with an appropriate professional body, where applicable.

· At least 2-3 years of experience in psychotherapy, counselling or a relevant therapeutic position.

· Experience preparing assessments, treatment plans and reports and monitoring client progress.

· Experience working with people with disability and complex needs will be highly regarded.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
