We provide services to medical practitioners, private hospitals and aged care facilities in both the ACT and regional surrounds (Southern Tablelands and South Coast NSW).

The Opportunity A full time position (38 hours per week) has become available in our Finance Department for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with an interest in accounts and procurement to work as part of our team providing pathology services to the community. An organised person with positive attention to detail, displays initiative and can prioritise tasks within set timeframes would suit this role. Excellent communication skills are a must, as this role involves liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Duties include:

· Inventory management and ordering of medical consumables

· Form good working relationships with both internal and external customers

· Stock order follow-up, stock and price discrepancies, stock level checks,



back order checks

· Attend monthly Sonic Pathology procurement and supply chain meetings

· Liaise with other Sonic Pathology laboratories to coordinate intercompany stock deliveries

· Processing of vendor invoices and monthly statement reconciliations

· Coordinate annual stocktakes of the Stores Department

· Previous experience with inventory management and ordering systems would be an advantage
