Pharmaceutical Manufacturing – QC Analyst / Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a QC Analyst or Laboratory Technician to support testing at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will work with the quality and production teams to test materials and products, maintain accurate laboratory records, and help ensure manufacturing meets quality requirements.

The level of responsibility will depend on your experience. An experienced QC Analyst will perform and interpret analytical testing, while a Laboratory Technician will focus more on sample preparation, routine testing and laboratory support.

Key responsibilities

- Collect, prepare and test raw materials, samples taken during manufacturing, and finished products.
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC, where trained and required, along with other relevant laboratory methods.
- Record, calculate and review results accurately in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
- Prepare reagents, standards, samples and laboratory equipment.
- Assist with equipment calibration,



maintenance and laboratory housekeeping.
- Identify unusual or out-of-specification results and escalate them promptly.
- Maintain clear records and follow GMP, safety and data integrity requirements.
- Work with production and QA teams to support timely testing and investigations.

About you
- A qualification in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology or a related discipline.
- Experience in a laboratory, ideally within pharmaceutical, complementary medicine or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- For the QC Analyst level: hands-on HPLC experience, including sample preparation, running methods and interpreting results.
- For the Laboratory Technician level: sound laboratory skills and the ability to follow documented methods; HPLC exposure is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate record keeping and a practical understanding of GMP.
- Ability to manage testing priorities and communicate issues clearly.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
