About the role The role supports an approved kindergarten program, delivered in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) within a long day care service. A permanent part time arrangement of at least 18 hours per week is available, with the option of full-time hours for the right candidate through additional work in long day care.

Key responsibilities

- Support the approved kindergarten program in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)
- Implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and other relevant Australian frameworks
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Support children's independent discovery through an innovative approach
- Understand and respond to the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of children from birth to five years, recognising each child's individual needs

About you

- A recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification, current study towards an approved ECT qualification, or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent
- Current First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management certificates
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Understand and confidently implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)



and other relevant Australian frameworks
- Use computer software confidently for professional and administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Understand the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of children from birth to five years, while recognising each child's individual needs
