POSITION OVERVIEW n

The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for managing the financial and insurance components of the vehicle sales process. This role ensures every customer receives a transparent, compliant, and value‑driven experience while maximising dealership profitability through product sales, lender relationships, and efficient deal flow.

As the Group Business Manager, you will work alongside the General Manager and Business Manager at each Duttons Site.

Dutton Motors Pty Ltd (Mazda, Ford & Nissan and soon to be GEELY), E. & C. Duttons Nominees Pty Ltd (Mitsubishi, Hyundai & BYD) and Duttons Adelaide Hills Pty Ltd (Isuzu, Volkswagen, GWM, Subaru and LDV).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Experience & Sales n

- Present and explain finance and insurance products clearly and professionally.
n
- Build trust with customers by offering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
n
- Guide customers through the contract‑signing process, ensuring full understanding of terms and obligations.
n

Finance & Product Management nn
- Secure financing approvals through established lender relationships.
n
- Structure deals to meet lender guidelines while supporting sales objectives.
n
- Achieve and exceed product penetration goals (warranty, insurance).
n
- Monitor and manage funding timelines to ensure rapid, accurate deal completion.
n

Compliance & Documentation nn
- Ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and dealership regulations.
n
- Complete all paperwork accurately, including contracts, disclosures, and insurance forms.
n
- Maintain strict adherence to privacy, credit, and anti‑fraud policies.
n

Operational Efficiency nn
- Work closely with sales managers to support smooth deal transitions.
n




- Ensure that you are introduced early in customer journey consistently.
n
- Maintain an organized workflow to reduce customer wait times.
n
- Keep up to date with lender programs, rate changes, and product updates.
n
- Assist in training sales staff on F&I; processes and product value.
n

Required Skills & Qualifications nn
- Proven experience in automotive F&I; or a related finance/sales role.
n
- Strong knowledge of finance contracts, lending practices, and insurance products.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
n
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced retail environment.
n
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
n
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and digital contracting tools.
n

Preferred Qualifications nn
- Certification in F&I; (AFIP, equivalent, or dealership‑specific training).
n
- Experience with multiple lender platforms and digital retailing tools.
n
- Background in automotive sales or customer service.
n
- Understanding of local/state regulatory requirements.
n

- Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to customer care and team building.

- Relevant accreditation (e.g., MFAA/CAFBA) highly regarded.

- Clear credit file and clear police record to represent our financier.
