Enrolled (AHPRA registered) Nurse/Disability Support Worker

West End Support Services has proudly supported the Ballarat community since 2017, delivering personalised, high-quality supports that promote dignity, independence, and inclusion.

We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker who is also an AHPRA registered Enrolled Nurse (EN/EEN) to support participants with more complex health and clinical needs within our SIL and SDA services.

About the Role

This is a dual-role position combining hands‑on disability support with clinical responsibilities. You will play a key role in supporting participants to live independently while ensuring secure and effective clinical care.

Responsibilities

- Supporting participants with daily living and independent living skills
- Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
- Administering medications in line with care plans and legislative requirements
- Performing clinical tasks, including injections and or other delegated nursing supports
- Monitoring participant health and reporting changes or concerns
- Mealtime support and documentation
- Maintaining accurate and compliant progress notes

About You





We are looking for a confident and capable professional who can balance clinical duties with person‑centred support.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in disability, aged care, or community care settings
- Demonstrated experience administering medications and injections
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
- Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- The ability to work across a rotating roster with alternate weekends (all shifts will be predominately 7am to 2pm)
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Driver's License
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
