Workshop / Yard Driver n

Freighter Group is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of transport equipment. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Workshop / Yard Driver to join our dealership in Brooklyn, Victoria. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting workshop operations through the safe movement of trailers, maintaining yard presentation and assisting the Service, Parts and Sales teams with day-to-day operational requirements.

About the Role n

- Moving trailers safely between the workshop, yard and designated storage areas.
n
- Positioning trailers for workshop repairs, servicing and inspections.
n
- Assisting with trailer loading, unloading and yard movements.
n
- Preparing current and used trailers for customer collection and handover.
n
- Conducting pre-movement and general safety checks on trailers and equipment.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard environment.
n




- Supporting workshop technicians and parts personnel with general duties as required.
n
- Assisting with occasional trailer deliveries and collections when required.
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A current HC Licence (essential).
n
- A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
n
- Experience operating or moving trailers, heavy vehicles or transport equipment.
n
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Strong communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
n
- A willingness to assist across workshop and yard operations as needed.
n
- Experience in a transport, manufacturing, workshop or dealership environment (preferred).
n
