The part you will play

As part of the Rural Amenity team, you will work closely with the internal stakeholders/Community. Working on: Council’s roadside mowing and vegetation maintenance across Council’s road network.

- Operate tractors, mowers and other plant, vehicles and equipment
- Perform herbicide application and proactive vegetation control activities
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of roadsides and associated Council infrastructure
- Support seasonal works, emergency response and borader maintenance activities as required
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver safe and efficienct services

You will thrive in this role if you:

- are someone who prides themselves on a solid day's work
- have previous hands‑on experience operating mowing equipment, plant or machinery in a roadside, grounds, civil or similar environment
- have experience in roadside maintenance, vegetation maintenance and herbicide application
- hold a current MR licence
