About the role

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Sydney team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for investigating quality issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining quality systems, and ensuring products meet both internal standards and customer expectations. Working closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams, you’ll play a key role in driving quality outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate quality issues relating to incoming goods, production defects, and returned materials
- Inspect and test components and products against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Act as the first point of contact for production quality issues and coordinate containment actions
- Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
- Facilitate and support the internal QMS audit programme
- Maintain and improve quality processes, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct safety checks, risk assessments,



and support 5S initiatives across the site
- Maintain calibration registers and ensure testing equipment remains compliant
- Review and approve document control requests
- Provide quality reports and support data-driven improvement initiatives

Skills And Experiences

What you’ll bring to the role

- Qualification in Engineering or equivalent
- 1–3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of quality assurance systems and processes
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualified
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and a proactive approach
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
