About the role

Cyclowest is seeking a Radiochemist to support the manufacture of PET and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and help expand radiometal production, purification and radiolabelling capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of research translation and GMP manufacturing, contributing to the translation of novel radiopharmaceuticals into routine clinical manufacture, including support for technology transfer, process validation and clinical trial radiolabelling activities.

Key responsibilities

- Support the development and optimisation of radiometal production and purification processes.

- Develop, evaluate and implement radiolabelling methodologies for PET and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

- Support production and clinical translation of investigational radiopharmaceuticals for clinical trial programs.

- Participate in technology transfer, validation and new product introduction activities.

- Collaborate with Production, Quality and external partners to implement new radiopharmaceutical products.

- Provide technical oversight during critical manufacturing activities.





- Support the training and mentoring of production personnel in routine and non-routine radiolabelling procedures.

- Support qualification, validation, technology transfer, investigations, CAPAs and process improvement activities.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.

- Experience in radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, radiochemistry or a closely related field.

- Demonstrated expertise in radiolabelling and safe handling of radioactive materials.

- Experience working in GMP environments and maintaining accurate GMP documentation.

- Familiarity with ALARA concepts, radiation safety principles, and state/federal regulatory compliance.

- Robust troubleshooting, communication, mentoring and teamwork skills.

- Experience working with radiometals is desirable.

- Honours, Master's or PhD qualifications in a relevant scientific discipline will be highly regarded.
