Radiology Receptionist

Herston Private Imaging is seeking a full-time or part-time Radiology Receptionist to join its expanding team. An Administration Manager role may be available to applicants with suitable experience. Herston Private Imaging is an independent, doctor led, diagnostic and procedural radiology practice situated in the heart of Brisbane's largest health precinct.

We are focused on clinical excellence, exceptional patient care and connecting with our community.

Conveniently located in Wren St Bowen Hills, Herston Private Imaging is walking distance to public transport and has onsite parking.

The clinic proudly offers 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, echocardiograms, cone beam CT, OPG and fluoroscopy.

The role

- Welcome and support patients throughout their appointment
- Manage, triage and schedule patient appointments
- Answer phone calls and emails from patients and referrers
- Manage patient invoicing, accounts and routine administration processes
- Collaborate with staff to manage patient flow, daily operations and promote our services
- Contribute to shaping workflows, standards,



patient and referrer experience
- No on-call or weekend work

About you Radiology Receptionists are the face of the clinic, often being the first and last touch points for patients and referrers.

The applicant is a genuine, welcoming and calm qualified, who takes pride in helping people. You are an effective communicator who can adapt to both autonomous tasks and teamwork.

The ideal applicant has

- Exceptional can do, approachable and professional attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with patients, colleagues and referring practitioners
- Radiology or customer service experience
- Strong ability to prioritize, multitask and be flexible
- Confidence to learn and use new systems and technology
- Radiology Information System (RIS) experience
- Medicare, DVA, Work Cover and Private Health invoicing experience
- Familiarity with PACS and image transfers
- Full working rights in Australia required
