Optimum Exercise Physiology is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly professional team based in Clare.
This role is more than just reception and administration - its about creating a welcoming experience for our clients and being an key part of a caring clinic environment.
The role will require you to oversee the daily organisation of clinic services as well as participate in general clinic operations. You will work closely with the practice owner and principal practitioner.

About the role
You play an essential role in our business. Reception and admin support keep the wheels turning and help our exercise physiology sessions and classes run as smoothly as possible. A high level of organisation, forward planning, initiative, multi-tasking and exceptional interpersonal skills are therefore essential in this role.
Duties include all aspects of reception and office administration, including welcoming clients face to face, managing incoming calls, contacting clients to make bookings, and organising and optimising the diary. You'll liaise with our clinical staff, managers and clients to make sure every client receives the best possible experience. You'll also look after account settlements, billing and payments, data entry, preparing client agreements and reports from our software, stock control and ordering,
and a variety of other general administrative tasks as needed, as well as providing organisational support to the practice owner.
The role is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, and falls under the Health Professionals and Support Services (HPOS) Award, Support Services Employee, Level 4-6. Remuneration will be matched to the skills and experience the successful applicant brings to the position.
Skills and Experience

- High standard of professional presentation
- Admin experience in the medical or allied health field (desirable)
A current National Police Clearance Check and Working With Children Check is required (or you will need to obtain).
