Technical Role Requirements

- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines.

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.

- Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify potential candidates.

- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

- Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires.

- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines

- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.





- Promote the company’s employer brand and create a positive candidate experience.

- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in recruitment.

- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and metrics to senior management.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other external partners.

Education Required

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources is desirable

- Certificate III Business Administration or similar field

- Tertiary qualification in electrical works or trade (essential)

Knowledge/Experience Required

- Background in electrical works either trades or engineering with tertiary qualifications or trade certs as a minimum

- Proven network specific to electrical works in Australia’s resources market

- Proven experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, preferably within the mining and construction industry.

- Strong understanding of recruitment principles, practices, and industry standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.

- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced and dynamic environment.

- Robust commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

- Willingness to travel as needed to support recruitment activities.
