Use your hospitality experience to help shape major commercial kitchens and grow SKOPE across Western Australia.

Do you understand how a commercial kitchen operates and enjoy helping people make better equipment decisions? We are looking for a market-facing Regional Projects Manager who can provide practical technical advice, build trusted relationships and grow SKOPE across Western Australia.

This could suit an experienced chef ready to move into a commercial role, a foodservice equipment specialist, a consultant or a technical sales professional. Refrigeration experience would be valuable, but the ability to understand a kitchen, ask the right questions and communicate confidently with industry professionals is just as important.

About the role

Based in Perth, you will work with foodservice consultants, designers, architects, dealers and end users to influence equipment specifications early in the project cycle. You will combine an understanding of kitchen workflow with close attention to product performance, technical requirements and project detail.

This is primarily a relationship, specification and business development role. WA has a lower volume of quoting than our larger eastern markets, giving you more time to meet customers, build networks and uncover major foodservice projects. You will maintain a disciplined pipeline and coordinate quotes when required, but the role is not dominated by desk-based administration.

Working side by side with the Regional Sales Manager for WA and SA, you will pursue shared growth goals and help support the region when they are travelling.

What you will do

- Build relationships with foodservice consultants,

architects, designers, project dealers and key end user groups.
- Identify major projects early and influence specifications through practical, technically sound recommendations.
- Use your understanding of kitchen operations to translate customer needs into suitable commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment solutions.
- Grow SKOPE's presence through networking, customer visits, industry events, presentations and proactive business development.
- Grow our IRINOX blast chiller and Vitamix portfolios by coordinating and conducting product demonstrations.
- Provide product information, technical documentation and project support to help consultants and customers make informed decisions.
- Work with the Regional Sales Manager and wider SKOPE team to progress opportunities from specification through to delivery.
- Keep customer, project and pipeline information current in Salesforce and contribute to regional planning and forecasting.

What you will bring

- Hands-on hospitality or foodservice experience, ideally as a chef or in a role that has given you a solid understanding of commercial kitchens and bars.
- The credibility and communication skills to speak with consultants, designers, dealers and senior end user stakeholders.

- An interest in technical products and the attention to detail needed to interpret requirements and recommend the right solution.
- Confidence in business development, networking and building a territory through consistent market engagement.
- The ability to present and demonstrate equipment clearly, including explaining how products perform in real kitchen applications.
- A self-directed and organised approach, with the judgement to balance customer activity, project follow-up and essential administration.

Why SKOPE SKOPE has designed and manufactured premium commercial refrigeration for decades and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and service throughout Australasia.

You will join an experienced and supportive team, with the autonomy to build relationships, shape the WA market and see the projects you influence come to life. If you know hospitality, enjoy technical problem solving and want to use that experience in a commercially focused role, we would like to hear from you.
