Cranecorp Australia is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee our Operations team across the Kalgoorlie region.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this senior leadership role is responsible for managing Depot Supervisors, Maintenance Teams, Fleet Control, ensuring operational excellence, fleet performance, safety compliance, and exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and support Supervisors, Maintenance, and Logistics staff.

Manage the day-to-day productivity and performance of the Operations Department.

Coordinate fleet allocation and workforce planning to meet operational demands.

Monitor fleet performance and liaise with the Workshop Supervisor regarding equipment breakdowns.

Ensure operational and fleet personnel comply with all company policies, procedures and HSEQT requirements.

Drive a strong safety culture through hazard reporting, risk management, toolbox meetings and employee engagement.

Review lift studies, JHAs, work procedures and lifting methodologies.

Authorise quotations, fleet purchases and training requirements within delegation limits.

Identify and support new business opportunities and client engagement.

Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager on operational, commercial and workforce matters.

Be available to support clients and operational staff as required, including outside normal business hours.

About You

Proven experience in a Superintendent, Operations Manager or similar leadership role.

Strong people leadership and team development skills.

Experience managing operational teams, fleets and resources in the crane, mining, construction, transport or heavy industry sectors.

Sound understanding of safety, risk management and compliance requirements.





Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Current Australian Driver's Licence.
