Stores / Forklift Operator - North Rocks

$35-$40 per hour | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm | Ongoing Casual

The Personnel Connection has been supplying permanent and temporary staff to businesses across Sydney since 2000.

We are currently seeking an experienced Stores / Forklift Operator to join our client's busy operation in North Rocks.

Our client is a well-established Australian company and one of the largest importers, distributors and machinists of plastic stock shapes and conveyor components across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an ongoing, full-time casual position, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

- Operating a counterbalance forklift
- Loading, unloading and moving stock
- Picking and packing orders
- General stores and warehouse duties
- Assisting within the production area as required
- Learning other areas of the operation, including machine operation




- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need:

- A current forklift licence
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Previous stores, warehouse or production experience
- Picking and packing experience
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Positive attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- A willingness to learn other areas of the production process

Previous machine operating experience would be highly regarded.
