Troy Laboratories is seeking a hands-on Plant Engineer to join our Operational Engineering team at our Glendenning site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable and compliant operation of our facilities, plant, utilities, equipment and infrastructure in a regulated manufacturing environment.

About the role

As Plant Engineer, you will support maintenance strategy, reliability improvement initiatives and capital project delivery to ensure equipment availability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and business continuity. You will also coordinate engineering resources, contractors, maintenance activities and projects as required.

Key responsibilities

- Support safe, reliable and compliant operation of site facilities, utilities, manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Drive reliability, equipment uptime, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate contractors and ensure safe work practices, risk assessments and required certifications are in place.
- Support GMP compliance, equipment qualification, validation activities, calibration and documentation requirements.
- Troubleshoot machinery and facility issues, supporting production teams to meet daily operational requirements.
- Execute agreed capital projects on time and to budget, including risk assessments, and documentation.
- Assist with longer-term capital planning and engineering improvement initiatives.

About you

- Experience in plant engineering, maintenance,



reliability or project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements, risk management and contractor safety.
- Experience working with utilities, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of GMP, cGMP or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate priorities, contractors and projects.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering qualification or trade background with suitable experience.
