Outcast is a fast-growing global fashion brand, and we're looking for an experienced Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our Finance team as we continue to grow across Australia and international markets.

If you have around 3-4+ years' accounting experience and are looking for a role where you can take ownership, continue developing your career and genuinely enjoy the team you work with, this could be a great next move.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced Finance team in our beautiful new office,and gain exposure across a fast-growing global e-commerce business. We offer a hybrid working model, with the flexibility to work from home every Friday, giving you the best of both worlds, time with the team in our office during the week and the flexibility of a regular WFH day.

As Outcast continues to grow globally, you'll play an important role in strengthening our financial processes and controls, identifying opportunities to make the way we work smarter, more efficient and scalable.

Your new role

This is a varied, hands-on commercial accounting role with exposure across:

- P&L; and balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial analysis and investigating variances
- Statutory reporting, tax and compliance
- Assist with year-end audit requirements
- Improving processes, controls and the way we work
- Supporting the Finance Manager and wider Finance team across projects and business initiatives





At the Senior Accountant level, you'll also have the chance to take greater ownership across month-end and provide guidance and support to junior members of the team.

About You

We're ideally looking for someone with at least 3-4 years' accounting experience who has strong accounting fundamentals and is ready to hit the ground running.

You'll ideally have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualification, or be working towards it
- Solid month-end, reconciliations and financial reporting experience
- Advanced Excel capability
- Great attention to detail and time management

Experience in e-commerce, retail environment would be great, but it's not essential.
