The Lucas Group is recruiting for a Grounds & Maintenance Person to join our client on their large cropping aggregation near Moree, NSW.

The Role
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping a property safe, tidy and well maintained.

- Maintaining lawns, gardens and grounds
- Looking after domestic irrigation, roads, driveways and outdoor areas
- Inspecting houses, sheds, workshops and farm buildings
- Completing minor repairs and general handyman work
- Assisting with fences, yards, water systems and farm infrastructure
- Coordinating contractors and tradespeople when required
- Keeping tools, equipment and facilities organised
- Supporting the farm operations team during busy periods
- Assisting with machinery operations , grain handling and general farm work
- Feral animal control as required

About You
You’re practical, reliable and comfortable working independently. You notice what needs doing, take pride in your work and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience in farm, grounds, property or facilities maintenance
- Good gardening and handyman skills
- Experience with farm machinery and vehicles
- Basic irrigation and infrastructure knowledge
- Good problem-solving and organisation skills
- A strong focus on safety and ChemCERT training
- A current driver's licence and HR licence

Cropping or farm experience will be highly regarded.

The Package

- Salary from $95,000 + super
- Accommodation provided
- Choice of on-farm or Moree-based accommodation
- Work vehicle provided for work and commuting
- Phone allowance paid per pay period
